- Engine efficiency improves by 1% for every 10 degree drop in under-hood temperature. Ceramic coating holds heat inward and is a far better option than heat wraps as these hold in moisture. Ceramic coating also helps preserve materials in harsh salty climates. Coating is shot inside and out and can handle up to 2000 degree temperatures.
Restrictions
- Not all colors are equally temperature rated.
- Chromex is rated to 1300* F
- Clear is rated at 1000* F
- All other colors are rated at 2000* F.
What's Included
- All pieces are first sandblasted with garnet and walnut shell media inside and out to ensure the removal of any foreign matter that could impede proper application, and then re-blasted with aluminum oxide to give the surface the perfect tooth for the coating to adhere. All pieces are then coated inside and out to seal in the material, protecting them from rust and corrosion, and giving them the best possible performance properties.
